METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF 3-(BENZAZOLYL-) SUBSTITUTED-7-DIETHYLAMINOCOUMARINES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: coloring of polymer materials and synthetic fibers. SUBSTANCE: 3-(benzazolyl-) substituted-7-diethylaminocoumarines are prepared by condensation of m-diethylaminosalicilic aldehyde with ethyl ester of benzozolyl acetic acid. Said ethyl ester is prepared by interaction of o-phenylene diamine or o-aminophenol with hydrochloride of ethyl ester of carboethoxyacetimide which takes place by boiling in the medium of solvent within 3 h, ethanol or propanol or iso-propanol or butanol being used as solvent. Condensation process is carried out in the medium of the same solvent within 3.5 h. Desired product is prepared at 82-85 % yield, additional purification stage being not required. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method.
