FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this is utilized at blasting operations in underground workings. According to method, attenuation of air shock waves is effected by applying screens made up of flexible freely hanging members (ropes, cords, strips) manufactured from synthetic materials. After passing of air shock waves through aforesaid screen, screen is removed by pulling rope with net, thus pressing flexible members of screen against roof of underground working.
