FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for dampening of air shock waves in underground workings with purpose to protect subsurface structures and communication lines from crushing. Water-filled stopping is made up of vessels with water which are made of elastic film-like materials and isolated from each other by air spacings. Vessels are made in the form of hoses which are fastened at vault of underground working and are freely hanging from roof through entire height of underground working, thus creating screen which crosses lateral section of underground working.
