FIELD: mining industry; applicable for damping of air shock waves in blasting operations in mine workings to preserve underground structures and service lines. SUBSTANCE: bulkhead has hoses of film material filled with water and freely hanging from working roof to cross the main part of its cross-section area. Bulkhead additionally has freely hanging from working roof bands woven from synthetic threads arranged in direction of air shock wave propagation and behind hoses with water. Band length exceeds working height and band ends lie on working floor. Excessive length of bands shall cover the main part of working cross-section area after blasting of charges of any delay and in their inclined position resulting from air shock wave. EFFECT: reliable damping of air shock waves, reduced weight of bulkhead and unification of its flexible members. 4 dwg
