FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: microscopic fatigue injuries of material of specimen cyclically loaded with pure bending with rotation under various stresses are detected by eddy current method by change of emf of magnetic induction. Tests are conducted under stepped increase of stresses with unloading of specimen after each stage of loading. Emf of magnetic induction is found on unloaded specimen. Stress corresponding to sudden change of emf is assumed as fatigue limit of material. Stress exceeding fatigue limit by 1.25-1.35 times is created in specimen to determine dependence of durability on stress in specimen which is formed in specimen after determination of fatigue limit. Mentioned dependence is found by reference point and fixed number of loading cycles before destruction under increased stress. EFFECT: increased authenticity of process. 1 cl, 2 dwg
