FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: prior to coating electrodes with low-melting glass, layer of low-melting glass with 10-60% content of high-melting filler is applied to electrode plate surface in gap between plate edge and line corresponding to display field boundary in direction perpendicular to electrodes. Coating of low-melting glass with high-melting filler is subjected to heat treatment at temperature T = Td÷0,92Tm, where Td is low-melting glass deformation point; Tm is low-melting glass melting point. EFFECT: improved uniformity of dielectric coating on electrodes throughout entire area of panel and improved its mechanical strength. 2 cl, 2 tbl
