FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when manufacturing gas-discharge indicator panels. High quality of dielectric coating is provided by utilizing in paste, containing 20-40 wt parts of organic binder, at least 35 wt parts of low-fusing glass powder, and no more than 35 wt parts of high-fusing filler, low-fusing glass and high-fusing filler powders with specific surface 6000-10000 and 6000-12000 sq.cm/g, respectively, where maximum amount of low- fusing glass powder is 45 wt.pts and minimum amount of high-fusing filler powder 25 wt.pts. As high-fusing filler, magnesium oxide, alundum, and alumina may be used and, as organic binder, 2.5-5-% ethylcellulose solution or the same supplemented by 15-30% of dibutyl phthalate.
