FIELD: surgery; pediatrics. SUBSTANCE: method resides in tailoring out graft out of atresia-affected segment of rectum, following by forming anal canal out of graft thus-tailored. To be specific, method comprises following steps: proceeding from posterio-sagittal access, surgeon must isolate segment of atresia-affected rectum to tailor out П-shaped graft from rectum's posterior wall by successively applying holding threads. Base of graft thus-formed is below, its width is equal to one half of circumferential length of rectum, base width-to-base height ratio being 1:2. In order to form anal canal out of graft, sutures are applied successively in two tiers. Defect in rectum is eliminated by applying two rows of sutures, followed by drawing anal canal thus-formed downwards towards perineum through center of external sphincter. Free edge of rectum is attached by suturing to skin, while wound is closed by applying layer-by-layer sutures. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
