SUBSTANCE: pharmaceutical composition has pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and an active component - effective amount of a mixture of L-glutamic acid, glycine and sulfur-containing amino acid taken from the group including cysteine, cystine and methionine at mass ratio of components = 1:1:1. Pharmaceutical composition can be prepared in the form of powder, tablet or solution. It has each of the indicated components at amount 0.1-0.2 g per a single dose. Pharmaceutically acceptable carrier consists of water or methylcellulose. Composition is used for prophylaxis and treatment of chronic alcoholism, intoxication with aromatic hydrocarbons and for resistance increase to hypoxia and protection from radiation damage by sublingual administration at effective dose.
