FIELD: cosmetology; dermatology; elimination of tattoos; treatment of benign pigmentary lesions of skin. SUBSTANCE: patient's skin is subjected to irradiation by train of successively emitted gigantic laser pulses, pulse energies ranging from 1 to 1000 mJ, each pulse duration being 1 to 100 ns, and entire pulse train duration not exceeding 300 mcs.
