FIELD: treatment by laser; methods and devices for marking of moving bodies applicable in various branches of mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes stages of directing of high-density energy beam 46,58 onto moving body 26, beam concentration to produce lighted spot in some point on surface or inside moving body 26 and moving of this spot in compliance with resultant of two movement components. In this case, the first of components equals the speed of moving body 26, and the second component is associated with the moving body 26 to produce marking of preset definite type. The device for embodiment of the offered method includes, at least, one movable galvanometric mirror 68 capable of moving the spot in compliance with the resultant of the two components.
