FIELD: polygraphic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marking of replacement resource units in printing devices. Method for marking of replacement resource units in printing devices consists in the fact that marking bundle of electromagnet energy is generated in printing device, and visually marked section of replacement subsystem is changed, which is at least partially located in printing device, for which purpose at least part of marked section is illuminated with marking bundle. Printing device, having body, and comprising replacement resource unit, which is at least partially arranged in body, besides replacement resource unit has visually marked section and unit of bundle direction, placed in body and intended for illumination of at least part of marked section with application of marking bundle of electromagnet energy.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible for a human being or machine to detect visual changes of marked section.
