FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for facilitating ice removing operations and reducing danger for workers, improving safety of buildings at periods of intensive ice formation. Ice protrusions are removed by inflicting side blows in direction from down to top. Device has curved turnable fork freely moving along wire rope stretched along roof overhang. Arms of fork are of different size and its legs are interconnected by angle piece. For operation, worker attaches ring by special hook, backs to safety place and by moving tie-rod down inflicts side blows to ice formations due to turning of fork. For transfer to another work zone, ring is raised by hook, turnable fork is moved to required zone and ice formations are removed by aforesaid method. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
