FIELD: polymer materials and optics. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing polymer lenses with flat, spherical, and aspheric shape of refractors - continuous and hollow, with uniform or gradient radial and/or axial distribution of refraction index. Vessel 1 with, contained in it, carrier 3 is filled with stationary buffer solution 2. Then, onto the surface of carrier, a specified-volume drop of organic light-sensitive composition is added by means of dispenser, said composition being immiscible with buffer solution and having density higher than that of buffer solution. After the drop assumes stable form of desired element 4, it is polymerized affected by activating emission 5 until it is completely hardened on carrier in the form of ready-to-use element. Walls of cuvette and buffer solution are transparent for activating emission. After irradiation is completed, polymer elements 4 can be subjected to additional thermal polymerization, separated from carrier, washed out, dried, and thermally treated to minimize residual internal stresses. Surface of element may be coated with antireflection and protection or photoanisotropic, photochromic, and other films. EFFECT: simplified manufacturing procedure. 1 dwg
