FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: inoculum of the strain Corynebacterium ammoniagenes is grown on sterile medium. Biomass is treated with aprotonic lipid extractant and permeabilized biomass is separated. Part of the latter is suspended and grown on glucose-salt medium at constant stirring up to accumulation of ribose-5'-phosphate in medium in disodium form. Then the obtained product is added to the nutrient medium containing nitrogen base for growing another part of permeabilized biomass and the end product is isolated.
