FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, nucleotides. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing uridine-5'-monophosphate by fermentation using coryneform microorganisms. New strains of coryneform microorganisms are characterized by resistance to the growth inhibition with pyrimidine analogues or deficiency for uridine-catabolizing activity or combination of both indices. The proposed method for preparing uridine-5'-monophosphate using new strains of coryneform microorganisms allows to enhance the yield of end product and reduce by-side accumulation of uracil. EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of strain. 4 cl, 11 tbl, 4 ex
