FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: casing encloses platform cantilevered at eyes set on stationary spring- supported bar. A drum with shaft is placed on platform and a gear wheel is set on extending end of shaft. Gear is engaged with pinion set on the shaft of summing turn counter. Gear wheel is also engaged with another pinion set on the shaft of micromotor. Over gear wheel, there is a toothed bar attached to cap of casing free to interact with gear wheel. The other end of drum shaft extending beyond casing has handle. Cable placed on the drum has its free end sunk in well whereas its uninsulated ends are soldered to contact rings installed on drum shaft and provided with plows. At the end of cable sunk into well, upper weight is suspended, out of which uninsulated ends of cable extend downwards. Upper weight supports through flexible connector suspended lower weight. In annular space between casing string and water-discharge pipe, ring-like float is sunk onto the level of liquid. Its weight-carrying capacity is sufficient to hold the two weights. EFFECT: facilitated reliable measurement of level of liquid in intertubular space. 4 cl, 7 dwg
