PROCESS OF STUDY OF VIBRATIONS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2097710 C1

FIELD: optical vibrometry. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with process radiation of source is directed at examined object, signal of phase-shifted waves reference and reflected from examined object is formed, spectrum of output signal is measured and examined object is evaluated by several fixed values of amplitudes of harmonics. During formation of signal distance between source and examined object is changed and value of phase shift is changed accordingly. Spectrum of signal is photographed with each change of distance and harmonic with maximal amplitude and frequency corresponding to it is recorded in each spectrum. Frequencies with minimal and maximal values are selected among them and vibrations are judged by obtained relations. In addition change of distance between source and examined object with formation of signal is specified within limits exceeding λ/2 and amplitude of vibrations is found. Apart from this experimental dependences are plotted which are used to evaluate depth of modulation of vibrations of object by second harmonic and amplitude of second harmonic.
