FIELD: measuring facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for finding amplitudes of nanovibrations. According to proposed method, object is irradiated by coherent radiation and radiation reflected from object is transformed into electric signal. Then signal is dispersed into first spectral series. Additional mechanical vibrations are excited in radiation source and/or object. Radiation reflected from object at action of additional vibrations is transformed into electric signal which is dispersed into second spectral series. Amplitude of additional vibrations is changed till maximum value of amplitude of reflected radiation or amplitude of harmonic of spectral series at frequency of additional mechanical vibrations is obtained. Amplitude of vibrations is determined by relationship between amplitude of harmonic of first spectral series at object vibration frequency and maximum amplitude of harmonic of second spectral series at additional mechanical vibration frequency or maximum of harmonic of second spectral series. EFFECT: enlarged range of checking of vibration amplitudes. 13 dwg
