FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: in order to rapidly control intensity of leaching processes, solution motion paths, and completeness of involving ore deposits into leaching process, before leaching solution is pumped in, mercury-gas surface mapping is performed and, when leaching is in progress, mercury-gas field is periodically observed. From results of determining mercury content in air of soils and loose deposits and from intensity of revealed mercury anomalies and their change with time, solution motion paths are determined to judge about leaching process intensity.
