FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: optical wedges are turned around axis which is parallel to ray being developed. Edges of optical wedges are preliminarily positioned nonparallel to each other. Third optical wedge is installed on optical ray path. It may be turned separately. Value of optical ray deflection angle is determined by third wedge from definite relation. Preliminarily optical wedge is turned around axis parallel to optical ray being developed, and angle of turn is found from relation including the values of angles of preliminary turn of auxiliary and one of two optical wedges relative to the remaining optical wedge and values of angles of optical ray deflection by optical wedges. Angle of turn of every optical wedge is determined from respective relations including the values of angles of turn of optical wedges relative to initial state and angular coordinates of ray on development trajectory. EFFECT: more effective construction. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
