FIELD: superconductor engineering. SUBSTANCE: for producing insulated superconductor, metal tube is filled with high-temperature superconductor powder, deformed, and subjected to heat treatment; then insulating coat is applied by pyrolysis of organometallic compound onto conductor surface prior to final high-temperature treatment; coat is applied in several cycles by dipping conductor in metal-containing organic compound solution based on carbonic acid salts followed by its heat treatment at 400-650 C; coat is formed both from oxide of one metal and from oxides of several metals. EFFECT: reduced thickness of insulating coat and its improved adhesion to conductor sheath. 2 cl, 1 dwg
