SUBSTANCE: limiter has rectangular waveguide section 1, insulating substrate 2 in sectional area of waveguide 1, first and second metal strips 3 and 4, respectively, arranged coaxially to each other and perpendicular to wide walls of waveguide 1, third metal strip 5 placed on other side of substrate in parallel with metal strips 3 and 4, through holes passing metal closers 6, limiting diode 8 connected between edges of metal strips 3 and 4 and facing each other, detector diode 9 inserted between edges of cross slit 10 in first metal strip 3, switching diode 11 connected between edges of metal strips 3 and 4 facing each other. Diode actuated by high-power microwave signal generates DC current component. Third metal strip 5 jointly functioning with strips 3 and 4 and closer 6 ensures closed circuit for passing DC current component dispensing with choking devices connected to walls of waveguide 1.
