FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: microwave power limiter has transmission line section, switching and detector semiconductor diodes interconnected in series, as well as metal conductor placed in longitudinal section of transmission line. Metal conductor is made in the form of closed ellipse (ring) with through slots made at its tops on its long axis; switching and detector diodes are connected between their edges. EFFECT: provision for protection of high- sensitivity receiver against overload and failure under the action of its own transmitter signal or high-power external signal. 4 dwg
