FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is intended for use as broadband radio communication antennas on aircraft in the UHF range. Proposed aircraft antenna represents a half-wave dipole, in which the dipole arms are made in the form of a two-level system of vertical collinear L-shaped loops connected to an earth bus, along which a coaxial supply line passes, wherein the vibrator arms and the earth bar are made in the form of a single flat conductor.
EFFECT: technical result when implementing proposed solution is reduction of front aerodynamic resistance of antenna, as well as reduced complexity of antenna structure while maintaining electric characteristics of antenna-prototype.
