FIELD: medicine; orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: Dr. Ilizarov's apparatus is applied onto patient's foot, followed by fixing main supports on heel bone, in foot's middle segment. Next curved rods are passed vertically through foot's fragment to be elongated, rods being provided with stop members, ends of which are connected with distraction-providing assemblies. Simultaneously, guide rods are passed transosseally through phalanges and corresponding metatarsal bones. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
