FIELD: separation methods. SUBSTANCE: moving adsorbent bed in intermediate cross-section of adsorption section and ascending liquid or gas flow in intermediate cross-section of chromatographic section are separated into two streams to form two countercurrent contact zones, one of the streams of adsorbent and ascending liquid or gas flow being contacted in initial mixture inlet zone and the other in intermediate fraction outlet zone.
