CONTINUOUS-ACTION ADSORBER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: petroleum refining, petrochemical and chemical industries for realization of adsorption processes in moving layer of adsorbent. SUBSTANCE: continuous-action adsorber has a casing with adsorption and chromatographic sections accommodating grate plates, distributing plate with a pipe connections for outlet of fractions separated from the source material, devices for inlet of fresh adsorbent and outlet of the waste one, and vertical plates made in the form of hollow slotted shells open from the top. The shells accommodate additional vertical plates for reciprocating motion inside the shells coming out with its upper part into the bulk of the sorbent layer and through rods connected to frames communicating with reciprocating motion mechanisms, and with the end edges entering the grooves of the guide bars secured on the casing. EFFECT: expanded range of operating parameters of the apparatus and degrees of freedom at its adjustment. 7 cl, 2 dwg
