FIELD: equipment for separation of liquid media in various industrial. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator includes drum with base where movable bottom is arranged forming cavity between them for supply and discharge of buffer liquid and hydraulic system for setting in motion movable piston and drive of drum. Hydraulic system includes buffer liquid chamber which is brought in communication with above-mentioned cavity, injector for supply of buffer liquid, valves fitted in base and used for discharge of buffer liquid from cavity under bottom and passages made in base and for supply of buffer liquid to valves and discharge of it from valves. Each valve has cylindrical body with cover having common drain passage, piston made in form of sleeve located on body, valve seat on body end surface engageable with piston crown and packing rings located on piston and on body. Outer lateral surface of sleeve is provided with bore communicated with passage discharging the buffer liquid from cavity under movable bottom which is used for creating additional pressure of buffer liquid on valve piston.
