CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for centrifugal separation of liquid mixtures, food and some other industries. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator includes drum put vertically on shaft and composed of base with unloading slits, cover arranged inside plate holder with package of plates and cylindrical piston. Separator is fitted with hydraulic aid to move piston downwards and to open unloading slits and with aid to move it upwards and to shut slits. Inner surface of piston has recesses. Aid to move piston upwards and to shut unloading slits has blind holes which house pushers mounted for reciprocating motion under action of centrifugal force. Each pusher has bevel for contact with surface of recess and for formation of wedge joint. EFFECT: increased functional efficiency. 5 dwg
