FIELD: separators with centrifugal pulsing discharge of sediments; applicable in processing industries for separation, purification, concentration, homogenation of various liquids. SUBSTANCE: separator has vertical shaft with drum, set of plates, circular piston with sealing edge and channel under sealing ring. Channel in piston body, in addition to exit to piston sealing edge, is communicated with buffer chamber. Drum base has hole in form of channel for partial discharge of buffer liquid from buffer chamber. Flow sections of holes-channels, their position relative to drum axis, moment of beginning and completion of supply of make-up and supplying buffer liquid and determined by calculation. EFFECT: simplified design of separator with increased efficiency of sediment discharge. 1 dwg
