FIELD: metal working, namely gear cutting. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by means of shaver type tool mounted by crossing angle relative to rotation axis of blank. Blank and shaver are subjected to rotation and mutual reciprocation motion at feed rate. Before direct stroke shaver is set to cutting depth equal or almost equal to depth of tooth being cut. Mutually correlated rotation of shaver and blank is realized by means of kinematic circuit. Back stroke of shaver relative to blank is performed at cutting depth equal to depth of tooth.
