FIELD: transport engineering; rail air cushion vehicles for use in suburban passenger railways. SUBSTANCE: monorail with air cushion cars has linear motor installed on support track. Cars are provided with flexible guards of air cushion and centnd additionalssors for building air cushion under car bottoms.
