FIELD: bridge-crossing means. SUBSTANCE: motor unit includes displacement hull 11 with inter-unit joints on sides, motor 7 and water-jet propeller. Displacement hull is provided with two hinged pontoons 5 and 6 and mechanism for opening and folding them. Bottoms of these pontoons are located below the bottom of displacement hull. Opening and folding mechanism of each pontoon includes vertical strut 11 which carries pulley, winch 14 with hydraulic drive and haulage rope whose end is connected via pulley with eye button fitted on pontoon transom.
