FIELD: bridge-crossing equipment; tow boats. SUBSTANCE: motor unit consists of center pontoon and two end pontoons articulated together, bridge road built in deck, coupling units on sides and swivel nose fairings, engine and propulsion and steering complex arranged in center pontoon; besides that motor unit includes house, winches and uprights with pulleys mounted on its deck. Motor unit is also provided with hydrodynamic boards secured on nose fairings by means of brackets for turn in vertical plane relative to above-mentioned brackets are located between pontoon hulls with fairings turned to lower position.
