FIELD: spilt oil removal. SUBSTANCE: coal containing more than 10 wt % oxygen is rapidly heated at 650-750 C, held at this temperature successively in two chambers for 10 to 30 min. Produced stone and cake particles are removed and remaining adsorbent has particle size as high as 3-4 mm and exhibits 12-13% submergence in water during 4-h observation.
