SUBSTANCE: mixture comprises, mas. %: granular corundum filler having fraction more than 0.5 mm in size; finely dispersed mixture of cooperative grinding having fraction less than 0.09 mm in size, the balance. Finely dispersed mixture comprises, mas. %: corundum, 40-63.5; alumina, 0.5-25; kaolin, 20-30; zirconium dioxide, the balance but not more than 5. Then half-finished articles are compressed of thus prepared mass and are roasted at 1520-1600 C. EFFECT: improved quality. 1 tbl
