FIELD: refractory industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the refractory industry, in particular to a method for manufacturing corundomullite refractory products used as fire ammunition, lining and various ceramic equipment for high-temperature installations, furnaces, stands, aggregates and other equipment. The method for manufacturing corundomullite refractory products includes the preparation of a charge by obtaining a mixture of coarse-grained and fine powders, wt. %: tabular alumina (0-1.0 mm) 35-45; mullite (0-1. 0 mm) 15-25; electrocorundum (0-12 mcm) 25-35; mullite (0-30 mcm) 5-15, moistening it with a binder in the form of silica containing 25-40 wt. % SiO2, in an amount of 6-10 wt. % over the mass of dry components, wiping the charge through a sieve with a mesh size of 1.6-2.0 mm and forming products at a pressing pressure of 35-55 MPa. The blanks are fired at a temperature of 1650°C.
EFFECT: increasing the fire resistance and quality of the surfaces and edges of large-sized and complex-profile products while reducing the molding pressure of the workpieces; the strength, density and open porosity of the products are comparable to the prototype.
