FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing film-forming material based on diene rubber. Method involves oxidation of diene rubber with oxygen-containing gas in solvent in the presence of cobalt-containing catalyst at heating. Butadiene rubber is used as diene rubber at mass ratio rubber : solvent = 1:(4.5-7.5), respectively. Cobalt salts of saturated and unsaturated carboxylic acids or their perfluoro-derivatives were used as cobalt-containing catalyst at amount 0.15-1.0 wt.-% of rubber level. Oxidation is carried out at 80-110 C at the rate of oxygen-containing gas feeding 10-100 h-1 up to viscosity of the end product 8-25 sp. Another variant involves oxidation of diene rubber with oxygen-containing gas in solvent in the presence of cobalt-containing catalyst at heating. A mixture of butadiene or isoprene or butadiene-α-methylstyrene rubber with oligopiperylene rubber is used as diene rubber at mass ratio = 1: (0.3-3) and at mass ratio of rubbers mixture and solvent = 1:(1.2-7.5), respectively. Cobalt salts of saturated or unsaturated carboxylic acids or their perfluoro-derivatives were used as cobalt-containing catalyst at amount 0.15-1.0 wt.-% of rubber level. Oxidation is carried out at 80-110 C at the rate of oxygen-containing gas feeding 10-100 h-1 up to viscosity of the end product 8-35 sp.
