FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, production of copper-phosphorus alloys by the method of hydrogen reduction. SUBSTANCE: to produce copper-phosphorus copper phosphate is reduced by hydrogen in the presence of cuprous oxide. Reduction is carried out in two stages. At the first stage temperature is maintained within 300-355 C up to full reduction of copper, while at the second stage, temperature is maintained within 600-800 C up to full reduction of phosphorus and its solution in copper. In this case, copper phosphate and cuprous oxide are used in ratio of 1:(0.5-2). EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl
