FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, solid-body thermoelectric instruments which use Peltier effect, electric refrigerators, converters of heat to electric current. SUBSTANCE: device has sequence of alternating semiconductor rods of n and p type which are located in parallel and spaced from each other. In addition device has heat exchangers which are located in perpendicular to semiconductor rods, are connected to them and are made from material which conducts heat and electric current. Some heat exchangers are loop-shaped. First end of loop-shaped heat exchangers is connected electrically and mechanically to one of adjacent semiconductor rods. Its second end is connected electrically and mechanically to another adjacent rod. Loop-shaped heat exchangers have space between their ends which are connected to adjacent semiconductor rods.
