FIELD: air conditioning in driver's cab of vehicle, such as truck. SUBSTANCE: air conditioner has shell divided by heat-insulating partition into passage for air being treated provided with at least one admission hole and at least one outlet hole, as well as passage for process air provided with at least one admission hole and at least one outlet hole. Thermoelectric battery has first heat-transfer cells placed in passage for air being treated and second heat-transfer cells placed in passage for process air. One fan is installed in treated-air passage and other fan, in process-air passage; fans are driven by separate motors. Motor driving fan installed in treated-air passage is placed in process-air passage between mentioned second heat- transfer cells of thermoelectric battery and fan installed in process-air passage. Fan installed in treated-air passage is placed between at least one admission hole and mentioned first heat-transfer cells of thermoelectric battery. EFFECT: eliminated heat transfer from running motor to cool air thereby increasing efficiency of air conditioner. 3 cl, 2 dwg
