FIELD: cooling equipment. SUBSTANCE: process of cooling of object by stage thermoelectric battery is based on discrete transfer of heat from object from stage to stage with intermediate accumulation of it in heat accumulators with supply of controlled stabilized D.C. to battery terminals. Operation of each stage is performed under modes of rated cooling productivity and of heat key. Duration of time intervals of these modes and strengths of current through stages is controlled in process of transfer to stationary mode depending on temperature of object and heat accumulators. EFFECT: enhanced cooling efficiency. 3 dwg
