FIELD: preparing of meat products. SUBSTANCE: utensil has container and cover, which are formed as truncated cones. Cover may be positioned within container. Container and cover may be tightened together by means of tension springs provided with grips on their ends, which may be brought into engagement with projection extending along bottom edge. Free edge of cover has flanged bead with bent portion serving receptacle for free end edge of container, when cover is in its normal position, and which is adapted to be caught by spring grips, when cover is in its overturned position. Utensil may be used for preparing of food product as well as for its further storage or canning in hermetically sealed state.
