FIELD: ophthalmology; equipment for gripping dislocated or incompletely dislocated eye's lens during its extraction. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises handle 1, external pipe 2 having oval cross-section, rod 4 made in form of spring-urged piston, internal pipe 6 having oval cross-section and telescopically retracted into external pipe 2, and working 7 consisting of two resilient sharp whiskers attached to lower and of pipe 6. In their free state, resilient whiskers have form of hooked curve, while when apparatus is in idle state whiskers are drawn into external pipe 2. As spring 8 is released, rod 4, internal pipe 6 and, together with it, working portion 7 brusquely (like gun shot) advance inside external pipe 2, thereby releasing resilient whiskers. Latter are projected beyond pipe 2, assume their initial hook-like shape and fix in place eye's lens. EFFECT: reduced time of operation. 2 cl, 5 dwg
