FIELD: shipbuilding; marine propulsion systems including propeller in nozzle. SUBSTANCE: marine propulsion complex includes propeller in steering nozzle which consists of propeller nozzle and before-propeller nozzle mounted coaxially forming circular passage hydraulically connecting the outer and inner surfaces of built-up nozzle. Both propeller nozzle and before-propeller nozzle have form of convex-convex aerodynamic profile. Tip edges of blades are located x in contraction section of helical nozzle over entire length; diameter of nozzle in area of tip edges of blades is no less than minimum diameter of before-propeller nozzle.
