FIELD: high launch of flying vehicles, for example, space shuttle from another flying vehicle. SUBSTANCE: space or air flying vehicle to be launched is delivered to altitude of launch and speed of launch vehicle is imparted to it, after which engine plant of launching vehicle is started, vehicle is accelerated and vehicles are separated; speed adequate for powerless flight is imparted to launching vehicle, flexible lowing coupling is paid out for towing the launching vehicle and launching vehicle is drawn off to safe distance, after which engine plant is started and speed is developed to exceed speed of launch vehicle; then flexible towing coupling is disconnected and is retracted. Device for realization of this method is provided with towing device. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 5 dwg
