FIELD: approach and docking of spacecraft and/or aircraft in flight. SUBSTANCE: in the course of approach vehicles are connected mechanically by means of flexible couplings. Flexible couplings are used for determination of relative position and drawing the vehicle towards each other. Free ends of flexible couplings are delivered by means of controllable and non-controllable transport facilities. Controllable transport facilities are made on base of wire-controlled rocket projectiles equipped with homing heads and anchor device. Non-controllable transport facility is made in form of anchor with palms extended in case of collision with obstacle. Anchor is thrown by harpoon gun. Upon completion of flight, transport facilities are caught by flexible nets, decelerated and secured. Then flexible couplings are made taut and are used for determination of coordinates of flying vehicles relative to each other, drawing them together and forming composite flying vehicle. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of approach and docking. 11 cl, 5 dwg
