FIELD: aerospace engineering; manned spacecraft flying to other planets. SUBSTANCE: spacecraft has heat- insulated vehicle, propellant tanks, power supply , flight control, navigation, communication and monitoring and life-support systems, payload compartment and crew cabin where control console is located. Vehicle is placed in ellipsoid envelope made from heat-resistant material. Envelope has ports receiving turbine blades. Ports and turbine blades are located in ellipsoid in way of action of gas jets from engine plants of spacecraft on envelope. Electromagnetic deceleration system mounted in heat-insulated case and in heat-resistant envelope in area of poles of rotation is made in form of coils located on heat-insulated case and squirrel-cage located in heat-resistant envelope. Heat-insulated spacecraft is fixed in pre-launch state inside heat-resistant envelope by means of retractable telescopic supports which are retracted inside spacecraft after launch. On side of one of poles of rotation launch and landing platform is mounted. EFFECT: reduced power requirements; improved flight characteristics at high manoeuvrability. 4 cl, 2 dwg
