FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sodium chloride solution that may be used in production of sodium chloride or sodium carbonate crystals as well as sodium hydroxide solution. Invention consists in that, from smoke fumes using powdered sodium bicarbonate, solid product containing sodium chloride and heavy metals is isolated. Product is dispersed in water to dissolve sodium chloride, after which solution is alkalized to separate heavy metal hydroxides and NaCl aqueous solution is brought in contact with chelate resin.
